They damaged our furniture, lost a table, and dumped our goods at the storage unit entrance..did not place into unit. Cursed me out, threatened to lose my goods..HORRIBLE. Thinking there is some type of criminal aspect to this group.

Move from Florida to NJ. Romeo, .. sales guy promised they do not subcontract (they did) and that the delivery would be done within 3-6 days - took 2+ weeks). Six days pass and no communication. Calls to Romeo go unanswered. Ask to speak with managers..Kim..all promises and no delivery Then, for a period of a week we are told that the delivery will be the next day and that they will call prior..no calls. Finally receive a call from Noame (can barely understand him) who says he is the owner of the truck (not Safeguard) and that his driver stole his money and abandon his truck. Can you believe this?

Four days later - I get a hold of Shai (Sean) English not his strong point who tells me to go F myself, that I am a D bag and that they may never deliver my goods. He threatens that if I make any additional calls…

don't give these people a deposit

Home safe will not refund any deposit even if Homesafe made the error. That stinks. We had to call another mover at the last minute because an error was made and we found we had no movers at the last minute after a couple of calls to Home Safe. In early Nov or late Oct. we had a definite pickup date but it didn't hit the calendar. A new family needs to move in and we could no longer wait for Home Safe.

Worst service ever.

I had one of the worst moving experience with this company and I am upset and angry beyond words.First, this company is a brokerage firm that are only interested in your money so please do your self a favor and run away as far as possible! I initially read the review posted by other people below but I thought I would give Homesafe moving and storage a chance but I was burned at the end. I was apprehensive about this company all along which made me drove to Texas with our name brand item and made my wife took the plane because she was pregnant and she wouldn't be able to withstand a long distance drive.We moved to TX from Chicago, we spent over $2800 on moving fees.During the pick up the drivers demanded additional $281 because they claimed we have move item than they thought.Upon delivery the driver also demanded additional $360 because his so called large truck is too large to get into our apartment complex.These people will drag your goods on the floor just to quickly move on to the next and they care less if your item is broken or damaged.Once our item were offloaded, we quickly discovered that some of our household goods are missing.We also found out that most of our…

Taken for a ride.

I hired Home Safe to move the contents of my house from Texas to Florida. Before I gave a deposit, I reviewed their reviews and checked them on the federal carrier database. To give me an estimate, I walked through every room of my house and told the sales person everything that was in My house. I was then quoted approximately $3700 for a little over 1000 cubic feet of furniture and boxes. I put a $ 500 deposit down. The movers were due May 14th to pickup with a delivery date promised for May 22. The actual pickup date was May 15th and delivery date May 28 at 9 pm. The actual price of the move was $9,501. Other than the $500 deposit, I was asked to pay $9001 In cash. When I finally got my belongings, many were broken as the boxes were damaged. Apparently my belongings were loaded onto one truck at my house, off loaded to their storage facility, then loaded onto another truck. When the movers came to pick up my belongings, the manager told me that the number of cubic feet was grossly under estimated and gave me an estimate of 2500 cubic feet. Biggest Headache of my Life.

I would highly recommend that you DO NOT choose this company for your move.  I was moving from Texas to Ohio and had requested a move for early June.  They were incredibly nice and happy to take my order prior to the move.  They arrived promptly on June 4th, and promised that my belongings would arrive within 1-2 days of my requested delivery date of the 11th.  However, after picking up my stuff, they increased the estimate from $1800 to $3800.  It was insane.   As the delivery date came closer, I called to verify the timing of delivery.  They seemed to have no idea that my belongings were due on the 11th.  They said there was no way they would be getting there at that time, and that maybe later that week or early the next week.  I am a physician, and needed my medical equipment to start my new job.   I continued to call, and all calls were ignored or rerouted.  I received multiple excuses from several people, and multiple different potential dates of delivery.  The customer service was some of the worst that I have ever experienced.  Especially from the manager, Amit. My belongings finally arrived a week and a half late.  It was a horrid experience and they continuously delayed…
