When I finally got a job offer I was thrilled and so relieved but the offer was in California and did not include relocation cost so I had to figure out how to make the move happen on limited resources. Being a single mom with a dead beat baby daddy money is scarce so I am very thankful to Finest Movers especially Greg for putting togetehr a quote that worked for me and sticking to it. They did a great job and stayed in communication with me throughout the process. Thanks for making it happen Guys!

Service cost: $1475

Highlights: Delivery was over a week late, items were missing, others were damaged, they scratched up my new front door, and worst of all, I could not get a hold of my contact at Finest Movers after he took my money. I am very easy going and easy to please, but Finest Movers completely dropped the ball every step of the way. Once I found out they were going to completely miss my move-in date, I called or emailed almost daily to get ahold of my main contact at Finest, and to this day I have still not received a reply of any kind. I just can't understand how a business can operate like that. It is very unnerving when things are going wrong with your move and you can't get in touch with your movers. You are left helpless. I also discovered that the support email on their website: support@finestmovers.com is not even a working email address. If you end up using Finest Movers, at least request to work with someone other than Greg. Also be prepared to live without your belongings for at least 2 weeks after your promised move-in date. And finally, put a blanket over your front door so you don't need to repaint it later.   Cheers!

After accepting a new job in Virginia, I had to quickly move out of my townhouse in Florida. I hired Finest Movers Inc since I had to be out of my house quickly and they did a great job. The staff was very nice and professional and they were able to move everything without any issues or damages. It was a very stressful time for me and I was very pleased with just how easy/seamless the move went. The price was very affordable and was one of the best prices I could find after shopping it out. I definitely recommend Finest Movers for any move that you might need to make in your future!

I scheduled a move with this company a month ago after reading online reviews, looking at the better business bureau website, and calling protect your move consumer hotline. I spoke to Greg who was helpful and offered great customer service. I got a total of 5 estimates, some of which were in home. Finest Movers was about $400 more than American Van Lines, but because of the customer service I had experienced, I went with them despite then being a smaller company. I was scheduled for pick up on 06/28 or 06/29. After my $1200 deposit was made, everything went downhill. I was told by Greg to update my moving inventory 5-7 business days before the move, which I attempted to do so that I could purchase moving insurance. I called the company several times and left messages without a call back. Finally I spoke to Derek, who said he would have Greg call me back. Well, to this day, I haven't spoken to Greg since he took my deposit. After not hearing from Greg, I called back and Derek said he would send me the info to update my inventory by 5 that day and that they would let me know at the end of the week which day I would be picked up, but it would most likely be Sunday. Didn't happen SO I called back again the next day. At that time, Derek sent me a list to update and after another day's delay, gave me a new estimate so I could purchase my moving insurance. The whole process took over a week and I ended up paying for my insurance on the Friday before the "move". Friday afternoon, I didn't hear from anyone about when my stuff would be picked up. I called around 4 pm and was told my move was scheduled for Sunday. Sunday came and went without word from anyone. I started calling this morning at 9 am since their website says they open at 9 and after 930, I spoke to Derek again who coldly let me know that they would not be able to pick my stuff up until July 1-4!! Well, obviously, if I have to be out of my home by June 30 at 5 pm, that isn't going to work. He was cold, distant and didn't seem to care at all. In fact, he told me that someone indicated that I spoke with them over live chat through the weekend and said it would be fine for them to change the date. That never happened! Derek said that they oversold the space on the truck and that there was nothing they could do and explained that if I moved during the later time frame, their company wouldn't even offer an inconvenience discount or anything. In other words, the move would cost the exact same thing, despite the added extra stress and inconvenience. At that time, I asked if I could speak to a supervisor. Conveniently, there was not one available, but Derek reassured me that it didn't matter if I spoke to one because he or she would just tell me the same thing anyway. I also told him that I had paid for moving insurance which, of course, was not his problem.
Moving is a very stressful experience and this company could not have been more inconsiderate. I will never consider them again for anything and I will make sure that as many people know about this experience as I can find to tell, just like I post frequently about my positive experiences. Truly, this has been the most stressful moving experience I have ever had, and the sad thing is that I haven't even left my place of origin to start heading to my new destination. I appreciate the efforts of American Van Lines, who had given me advice, despite me not going with their company, American Moving and Hauling for being willing to squeeze me in for a load service tomorrow morning, Penske (Tarshiana) for doing everything they could to help me, and AAA for their consumer relocation services!!

They made my move nearly hassle free. I say nearly, because while everything went beyond my expectations as far as this company and their service, my personal trip from Miami to Seattle was fraught with disasters.. The price was completely reasonable and I'm thrilled that it was so competitive. The actual movers who handled my furniture and other items were promptly on time, and very polite and efficient. They treated with courtesy and were willing to put up with my eccentricities regarding what rooms went first and what had to be extra protected.  Though I hope never to have to move across country again, if I did I would choose these guys in a heartbeat.

I have to be honest, I didn't know what to think when I was searching for long-distance movers. I didn't know who I could trust, and the reviews were just all over the place! I eventually ended up going with First Movers because I saw them on moveroftheyear.com and it was one of the best decisions I had ever made. My relative was moving from sunny Florida to Oregon on a job and they needed to be there within one week of when they wanted to leave Florida. First Movers were quick, efficient, affordable and very helpful. I was so pleased with their service and whenever I need to move again, I will use them!

Came on the second backup day at 7:00pm at night. Who the heck wants to move at 7:00pm at night? Salesman lied to me several times. Basically, their strategy is to lie to you on the phone and then leave everything that you talked about with them out of the written contract so they can deny deny deny. I get to my new place and have to wait 20 days to get my stuff. Apparently, if you say your move in date is 20th they don't start that incredibly long waiting period until the 20th. If you have a 10 - 20 day window, tell them you're moving in about 10 days earlier than you actually are so they actually come on the date you move in. Otherwise, you'll be a poor sap like me who had to sleep on an air mattress for a month before I could get my stuff. They also bent my mattress in half. All of the reviews on this site are fake.
