Contacted this company and spoke with Alex Parks as the coordinator. (My reference number is N5154014) I was promised they could get my furniture to PA from FL in 4 days. I paid them $774 from 6/18 for their fees. Then another company was sent to my house on 6/28 to pick up the furniture where I am supposed to pay another $1100 on day of pick. I paid it and they picked up the furniture and to date I have still not received my furniture in PA. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. IT IS A SCAM. Today no one can tell me where my 3 bedrooms of furniture is.

What we liked most is the way this agency and its employees were that they were expeditious and did what they said they would do as quickly as possible. Great advice given by the sales rep Shawn Edwards in regards to keeping our box count volume in line with the original estimated boxes and sizes avoiding unnecessary billing increases. Good follow-through and attention to detail leading up to our moving day. Alex was easy enough to work with for changing our moving inventory, but declined to increase our load size as he advised it would be better to have final revision on site with the foreman that worked for the carrier they assigned.

On the actual day of the move we were contacted by the office to see if all was going well since we were not present for pack and load... the packers seemed to take care to ensure items were not going to get destroyed moving 3,000+ miles or even damaged (aside from typical knicks here and there) and the claims process was relatively simple to start though dealing with the adjuster (as with any) was not the greatest, but also not Express' fault. Total claim was about $321.22 and they located a professional to repair my pool table slate which was damaged due to our own ignorance in regards to fragility of the pieces inside.

Overall good move - Wish they would've set me up with someone to crate the slate ahead of time, but allegedly they believed this to have been taken care of by us and corrected afterwards as possible. Delivery could have been a bit faster - Instead of 10-14 days as stated by Shawn it took 17 days total in real time not business days.

4/5 stars - Recommend for those that have moved long distance several times and understand the go around with the "non binding" estimates or "binding" and can be accurate as to contents to be packed professionally or simply transported with padding, blankets and tape to seal as standard.

I’ve done a few corporate moves and this was by far my best experience. Maxine at Express Moving was great at coordinating and scheduling my move. She was so nice and personal. Her updates and communication throughout the process was exactly what I’d want to keep myself and my husband updated through the already stressful moving process. He was professional, hardworking, and courteous with every interaction. He even gave us a list of recommendations of places to check out based on his experiences in the area after unloading our stuff.

I had low expectations for customer service from a mover based on past experiences, yet Maxine and the Express Moving crew was top notch not just for a moving service but anyone in the customer service industry.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3700

Please don’t trust this company they are scammers and aren’t the actual moving company, me and my wife agree and trusted this company to move our things from South Carolina to Texas. We were Pacific about what We knew what we wanted and how we wanted to be moved and didn’t receive nothing and return. 3 days before it was time to move the company back out of the agreement, which I paid a deposit for and still haven’t yet received my deposit back. This was very unprofessional and hurtful to me and my family.

On the positive side, my stuff arrived within one week all the way across the country, and because I had labeled every single box, I did not lose anything. Miraculously, only 3 glasses and plates were broken. The DRIVERS from Radius Moving(and their helpers) were polite, efficient and reasonable.

However, my experience with the sales process is similar to many reviews on here and SUPER STRESSFUL. This "consulting" company Express Moving is in definitely in cahoots with the moving company "Radius Movers"-- the Express consultants will give you a low-ball estimate to get you to sign a “binding” contract and make a deposit. Despite being VERY CLEAR how much stuff I needed to move, the actual move cost me more because they milked me for more money when my stuff was half-way loaded onto the truck, claiming I had under-estimated my load, which I did not. “Binding” does NOT mean that you won’t pay more, even though they reassured me their estimate was solid.

You sign the official contract (pages of tiny print) when the truck is fully loaded, which makes it nearly impossible to stop and read everything you are signing because the driver is antsy to leave. At delivery, because a smaller truck was needed to get down my street (which I had been clear about at the outset) they wanted to charge me an additional $650 in order to get my stuff to my house. Not one person made it clear verbally that the small truck would be extra money at delivery, though it was in the very small print of the contract. I ended up renting my own Uhaul and did the last leg of the move myself. The sales people are verbally reassuring on the phone, but the reassurances are hollow. When I told Patrick that they should cover that last $650, and I had no recourse as a consumer but to complain online, he essentially told me I was a terrible person, and that “moving just sucks so get over it.” Bottom line-- measure exactly what you are moving in CUBIC FEET. If you do this, the estimate will stack up to be about the same as reputable companies. Don't fall for a low estimate, not worth the heartache and stress.

Original estimate $4100, actual cost $6650 (had I not rented my own Uhaul), plus high blood pressure and gray hair.

If you're moving out of an apartment, Express is definitely the way to go. This was my second time moving across the country and my move to Montana was an absolute NIGHTMARE. I was calling multiple moving companies in the planning stages because I knew in my mind that I don't want to be waiting an entire month again and sleep on the floor of an empty apartment. Anyhow, I even considered PODS for this move but after talking with Maxine at Express Moving, they supplied me with all the nitty gritty details of what would happen if I moved with them. I think she was the 4th person that I got a moving quote from. We talk for a bit and even though I might pay a little more with them, she was not fumbling over her words like the other people I was talking to. She even answered more questions than the other companies so that gave me more confidence. Might sound silly but I went with my gut on this one. Could this trip possibly go worse than my last?

Closer to my move date, Patrick the dispatcher gives me a call just to double check everything on my inventory and to go over the paper work one more time. This was very professional and honest of him and he even warned me about other companies that like to sneak certain clauses in their contracts. Dodged a bullet for sure! So as of that time, everything is pretty crystal clear. Pay the remainder in halfs at Montana and the other half in Maryland. Pretty simple. They told me too that delivery could take a couple of weeks thinking that I might be worried but I planned to stay with old college friends when I got to LA so that is just fine.

A company called Radius showed up friday morning that I guess works with Express Moving and they were the best. The guys were super nice and super helpful. They could clearly see I was a little nervous to be moving again after telling them my horror story about last time. They kindly told me to relax, sit back and let them do all the work. Helps too that a couple of the guys were pretty cute lol. So they did. I handed over my keys to the now old apartment and was Maryland bound that night.

A week goes by and I'm curious so I call Express just to check up on everything. I ended up talking to Kyle in customer service who was very courteous and willing to get me a better window of time to when I could expect them in

Maryland. I wasn't really in a rush and knew to expect it to take a couple of weeks. He ended up calling me back about a half hour later with the update. I will be receiving my things just before the 14 day mark and that he will call me once he has more information so I can be ready. He called back the next day to tell me that they will be here on wednesday! Horray! The only thing that went wrong when the guys were unloading the truck is that a box of my clothes fell off of a stack of boxes and dented a corner. I could not believe that it went the way it did after last time. The last company I used to move lost boxes and broke table legs.

I want to give a special THANK YOU to the entire Express Moving team for this seamless walk in the park. This was a dream compared to my last moving nightmare. 110% will be contacting you all if I need help in the future. You guys ROCK!

This is a broker moving company that subcontracts other movers. This company lies about delivery timeframe and is very unprofessional. Movers made us tip them illegally (Radial movers) and all company reps give you different information about delivery time frames. I was over charged with a false cubic ft. Radial company employees were extremely rude and didn’t try to rectify the issues at all. This has by far been the worse customer experience I’ve ever had with any company. Do not use this company to move. You will wait at least 3 or more weeks to have your property delivered. I was told 3-5 days and it’s been 3 weeks already. Caused me to have to spend money on hotels, clothes, and other needed expenses.

This company is a complete scam. I paid over $5000 for them to help me move from South Carolina to Texas and it was a complete waste of money. They take your money and sell your contact to the lowest bidder then completely ignore you. Before signing the contact I asked about the 30 business day delivery window and they said that was standard in contracts from one state to another state. We have a 20 minute discussion about it and they assured me it was not an issue as long as I gave enough notice of my delivery date. They never offered me a premium option for a delivery date. You have to pay extra if you want delivery date. I called and signed a form for a delivery date on 12/28/2022 for a delivery on 2/15/2022. I emailed several times before to confirm the date and no one responded. On the 16th Express Moving finally texted me and said I was a "priority" and they would get me a status by the end of the day. Around 10PM I got a call from a guy that was drunk that refused to give me his name, then demanded my SSN and when I would give it to me he started asking for by birth zip code. He ended up telling me everyone quit and he had every right to wait up to 30 business days (6 weeks) to delivery my property. He was laughing on the phone. He thought my frustration was funny. He called just to bully and harass me. Express Moving has 100% ignored me since the drunk guy called.. No response to any emails calls or text. Nothing. It has been over a month since my delivery date and Express Moving is still completely ignoring me. Hiring a moving consultant was complete waste of money. I could have found a crappy moving company on my own and it would have been cheaper. Don't bother wasting your money on a moving consultant. If something goes wrong they are not going to help. They already got paid and can care less what happens to you stuff or how the local company treats you.
