The Moving Agent was charming and helpful but it was all a lie. He promised 1 day tear down, loading & delivery by an experienced crew.

The tear down and packing was done but young in-experienced guys who were not at all organized. It took them 7-1/2 hours to load the items in a small 2 bedroom ground floor apartment. They didnt have to pack anything. Only had to tear down and wrap furniture.(Sofa, Table and chairs, queen bedroom set and glass top desk. Needless to say the delivery was not done in one day. As a matter of fact, my items were shifted to a different truck before they were delivered more than 24 hours after they were loaded.

The delivery crew was different from the loading crew. They would not start unloading the truck until I signed the form accepting the delivery in good condition and that nothing was missing.

They did not come with tools to reassemble my furniture. I had to provide them tools. The driver was too busy on the phone to read out the box numbers for me to check the inventory. They were in a hurry to get to their next job.

The damage was unbelievable. The little furniture I had was less than 6 months old.

I move quite a bit for work and this is the worst moving experience I have ever had.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2400

I had a horrible experience. They assured that I could move on the day I asked for and changed it the day before they came to a day that I said I could not do. My agent was dishonest from the beginning and was horrible at calling me back. When I tried to call customer service they said I had to email and no one ever got back to me. I could also never get ahold of a supervisor because they said there was no access. When I called I could also hear other customer service agents screaming at customers in the background so loudly that I could not even hear the person I talked to. They also tried to overcharge me upon delivery of my items. The story is so much longer than this. If it were an option to give them a zero star I would do it. I felt taken advantage of and the whole thing felt like a fraud. The movers themselves were great but working with Atlas was the worst experience I have had in such a long time. It seems like a good deal because they are cheaper than other people but there were hidden costs and horrible communication. I told the guy I was working with that I wanted a discount and he stopped answering my calls or returning my messages after this. Horrible!!!

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $6200

Was going to use them for a cross country move but started getting bad feelings about the company with giving precise information. I cancelled 2 days prior to the "48-72 hour pickup window" I was told and it was on my invoice that I had 24 hours prior to pick-up to cancel to receive my 15% deposit back. I cancelled well before. They have been telling me that the terms and conditions that I signed say 7 days prior and thus far I have not received my deposit back. I looked through the terms and conditions I signed and it does not mention a time frame. If they have my electronic signature on another form that would be fraud and that is basically what they are admitting to me. They were not able to tell me when they would be there 2-3 days prior to the move and the terms and conditions state they have 2-21 days to deliver which worried me.

**Long review**

Bottom line: When it comes to this company, DO NOT used them. I had to remind myself that individuals do not write reviews just for fun. Read them and please take them into consideration when booking with a moving company. Atlas was originally priced lower when compared to other company. But once everything is said and done, they are the same if not higher to other competitors. If you received a quote for $2k, trust me you’ll end up paying close to $3k at the conclusion of the trip. Do yourself a favor and use another company. Bottom line is I regret wholeheartedly going with this company. I advise that you please continue shopping around to find a more reputable company because Atlas moving systems is not it. I have listed my very recent experience with this company:

1. Made reservation with a 2 week time span. Later changed my reservation to ensure delivery before Christmas.

2. Dec. 17- All items were picked up. I was unexpectedly charged fees that were NEVER discussed/explained. However, I was in a time crush and decided to pay the additional fees.

3. Was told by Atlas and guys that picked up my belongings (on Dec. 17) that Dec. 21 was the guaranteed delivery date.

4. Dec. 20- I arrived in Florida

5. Dec. 21- Items WERE NOT delivered. Received no updated

6. Dec. 21- I called moving company. Was told that my belongings were still in Texas (wtf). I was told to call dispatch for an update. No one answered, so I left a voicemail.

7. Dec. 22- I received a call back to let me know that my items were now in transit. Issue: why I am having to call for an update?! This should be done on the company’s end.

8. Dec. 23: i called again for an update. Of course, no one answered so I basically yelled at a voicemail.

9. Received a call early on dec. 23 to let me know that the driver will be delivering my things Saturday (Dec. 26) The day AFTER Christmas. Apparently there were four clients ahead of me. Again, this was NEVER explained.

I never wanted to be the type of customer that has to yell and shit to get my questions answered. But unfortunately, that’s the ONLY way that you’ll receive some answers with them. I was NOT explained the process of his your things are transferred from moving company to company from state to state. Essentially, your reservation is being brokered out to the highest bidder. Once you made your reservation, you are done with the initial company. Who ever with the most dollar amount, obtains your goods. Had this been explained, I would have NEVER booked with them. I would have saved several money, a headache, and still had my things in one piece and done things myself.

Dec. 26- my items finally arrived later in the morning but of course damaged. And here’s what happen:

1. Please be advised that the driver(s) will not unload your items until final payment has been received, in hand.

2. My tv stand legs arrived damaged.

3. I am MISSING my rose gold luggage (with toiletries mesh bags) that was sent with my things in the moving truck.

4. Several boxes were broken/damaged.

5. My vase was broken (but of course I didn’t realize that until after I opened the box)

6. My boom (the brush part) is missing (wtf!)

My apologies for the terrible long review. But I truly wanted all to know to please save yourself the headache, but most importantly your money and book with another company.

Never use this company they are the worst moving company.Moved from Washington to GA in November 2021, it took 2 months to arrive. Promised 2 -3 weeks. When 2 bedroom furniture arrived, almost everything was damaged, they were packed well and the movers in WA did a good job packing. Missing TV, garden tool and other items as boxes were torn and wet, moldy. Someone left all my items in rain. I had $8k items and it cost me $4,600 to move. This is gone down the drain. I filed a claim, today I received $15 for the loss. I am furious about how poorly they handled my move and there is no customer service. I am going to reach out to BB and consulting a lawyer. Beware of them! They guys dropped was in a hurry and did not speak English. The company needs to take responsibility for their actions.

August was very understanding and worked with me on making things happen until the very last minute. His estimate was pretty accurate, even if he didn't believe he would get as much done in three days as we did. But we work hard and expect the same of others. We were not disappointed. The moving team worked hard and was very professional yet kind and understanding. Their prices were also competitive, as I checked other companies to ensure that I was getting a fair deal. I highly recommend Atlas Moving Systems

and would for sure use them again.

AMS picked up our household on June 29th. Today is July 20th & will still do not have our items delivered. We were promised it would not take this long to deliver (despite the contract stating 3-16 business days) & AMS would take good care of our boxes & furniture, as stated by Ryan at AMS. He is the sales guy & promised us anything we wanted to hear, , professional, contractors, their own trucks, etc, regardless of how the reality has been conducted, including let the rolling tool box fall on the concrete.

Each time we contact AMS call center for an update, there has been no proactive updates from AMS themselves. Ryan never answers his phone & never returns our calls. In addition, when we do call, AMS, Bernard & others have no ETA, no solid updates as to when we will receive delivery. They use the word "possibly" which never materializes.

We're still waiting & in hopes our items will be delivered later this week......MAYBE. I will not recommend Atlas Moving System (AMS) to anyone that is moving long or even short distances. This is our first long distance move from Texas to Ohio.....live & learn. Of course AMS wants their money in three payments in the form of a cashiers check. I will be surprised if we do not sustain damages & it will be a circus trying to receive compensation, I'm sure if this delivery is any indication of their lack of integrity & professionalism.

I have had nothing but issues with Atlas Moving Systems. From the $3k upcharge at pickup (half my stuff was already on the truck and we were moving in 2 days, I didn’t really have any other options at that point), to the fact that our “relocation specialist”, the foreman of the crew who loaded our stuff and a woman at their corporate office all told us that our stuff would be delivered on a specific date, only for it to still be MIA over a week later, everything with this company has been an absolute nightmare. If I could give negative stars I would. I’m trying not to think about how much of our stuff is going to be missing and/or damaged when it finally arrives. Can’t get a straight answer out of them and 50% of the employees that we’ve talked to on the phone have been downright rude.
