Company is a Total Scam!!

Total scam. Do not use this company. Received broken items and missing a lot of stuff! Company is a full of sketchy characters. The manager Joseph hangs up because he can't handle a management position. Wish I could give 0 stars. Do not use this company! Trust me you will thank me later! Was quoted $1500 and then was lied to and the guy waits until my whole house is packed to then tell me it's over $7000. Total scam!

Long-distance move from Queens Village, NY to Atlanta, GA

Still waiting for furniture.

Recently hired this company to move my daughters things from Queens NY to Atlanta GA. My daughter got rid of most of her things and had very little to move. Everything was put on the truck before getting a final bill. The bill was only a couple of hundred dollars more than the estimate but that did not include the 15% tip that was expected to be given to the movers. The biggest issue is the movers told my daughter to put down available to receive date as five days from the time they packed it up. July 31st. It is now August 13th and she still does not have her things or any information as to when they will arrive. When speaking with Eric the manager, he said that they had 7 to 14 days from the receive date to deliver her things, and it is based on the date that she put down to receive her things. Still waiting for delivery A one van lines. You have been paid the 2300 dollars that you charged and you did not have to wait 7 to 14 days!

Moving.

I had A One Van-Lines move me on Friday, February 15th, 2019.
From the moment they arrived, it was exceptional and professional service to the very end.
I have to give kudos to Errol and Perry as they went above and beyond to give exceptional service. There was also another gentleman with them but I did not get his name.
At one point, I was so overwhelmed that I started crying and Errol consoled me and said "Miss Edwards, don't cry, you are in good hands".
They are true professionals to their craft. Perry always had a smile on his face. I will recommend A One Van-Lines to anyone I know that needs a moving company.
Thank you A One Van-Lines, Thank you Errol, Perry & the other guy.

Long-distance move from Chadds Ford, PA to Greenville, SC

Worst experience ever.

Long story short my quote was originally around 1400 dollars . On moving day because of a mistake on my inventory list my price would have been around 2400. After a lot of back and forth happened and after I took several things off the list I got my price down to 2150 . I ended up leaving serveral items at my former apartment and had my parents store items at there house. Then I found out that if you miss your delivery day they would have charged me 1050 + a 250 fee to store my items for the 2 days I needed . I knew there would be a charge but 1050 and 250 is insane.

They are unorganized and unprofessional and Susan is the worst of them .

I’ve moved a lot and this was by far the worst move I’ve ever had . I told them I was going to review them everywhere I could find and I’m doing just that . Hopefully I save someone else from the nightmare I experienced.

Extremely professional and clean.

It was my first time moving into the city and I was nervous considering all the horror stories I hear about moving industrys but I was relieved to have A one vine lines do such an amazing job with moving my furniture into my apartment without not even one scratch. The job was done quick, smooth and extremely professional. This company made me feel at ease and delivered everything that was promised on the phone. I will happily use this company again for my future moving needs. I strongly recommend.

Delivery

Total 360 from the initial reservation. The delivery was a disgrace. Pollo was very disrespectful and Susan was ok with his behavior as she did not think that his using profanity was a problem she did not consider bull$#!+ profanity. She also became very combative when my cousin suggested that I take her to small claims court. The delivery was scheduled for Thursday and I was not called with the 24 hour notice that they said I would get . Nevertheless it was a no call no show. Fastward to today Saturday furniture arrived. Pollo was rude. Bed and table were not reassembled. Furniture was literally dropped off and movers left without a word. I called Susan and she like I said was very defensive she defended the atrocious behavior of Pollo (Paulo) she condoned his behaviour and accused me of using profanity towards him. Firstly I do not use profanity and especially wouldn't have used it in front of my 72 year old father who was on the conference call. I explained to Susan and to whomever answered the call that the delivery was not delivered when it was said it would be. Then it was rescheduled and was still later than the stated delivery time. Yes the contract said it may take up to 14 days however they asked me for my earliest receipt date and I said the 17th. They said the moverswould give me a call 24 hours prior to delivery the call never came instead I received a text from an unknown number on Tuesday stating delivery on Thursday between 10am and 2pm and that the balance of $548.13 was due upon delivery. I responded(ok) back in an email. No call no show. Then I called one of the initial movers and he said someone would call and let me know something. (Never happened) then I received another text on Friday that delivery would be between 5pm and 8pm Saturday. They did arrive between those hours. My dad called me because Pollo (Paulo) said that instead of the $548.13 it would be $675. Because there are 21 stairs. I told him that I was not told about any additional cost for the stairs because I was asked what floor and I said second and I was not sure if there was an elevator at the delivery address. After some back and forth I told him to Call mark and have him call me. He proceeded to tell my dad that this was BS and that he didn't have to pput up with BS. I was like excuse me did you just curse? He repeated it again and said yes. I immediately called the number that Mark had called me from on the initial moving day. I gentlemen answered and I asked to speak to Mark. He said he's off until Monday. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he said that he maybe able to help so I began to tell him what happened and Susan got on the phone and I started to explain what was happening and my dad was also trying to tell her she totally dismissed the mover's behaviour. She said she would call him and call us back. She stated that she would pay the movers for the 3 steps. Meanwhile Pollo is complaining to my stepmother and cousin he always gets these jobs and is not paid. His co worker was more personable and apologetic for Pollo's language. As mentioned earlier they dropped the furniture and left without a word. I called Susan back and she was still defending her employee. I told her they had not reassembled the items they disassembled, and that they had delivered 2 boxes that had someone else's belongings. She offered $50 to hire someone to reassemble the bed and that her movers would be back tomorrow afternoon to correct the mistake. My cousin said to me that I should take her to small claims court and all of of a sudden the call was disconnected and she called back saying she was sending her movers with police escort on tomorrow. Said that would be great so t j.g at they can document the damage. She then said she's recording the call and she would se us in Court and saying we would have to come to NY (I live in NY)I said great thank you Susan yes will see you in court. After further checking the bed frame it missing and can not be assembled. How could such a great start end soooo horribly? Never again. Susan mentioned she was previously in Law Enforcement. Hard to believe with the lack of professionalism. I had to give a rating......1 star is way more than deserved.
